The views of the Sequatchie Valley are absolutely breathtaking. Being one of the most unique valleys in the world, the Sequatchie Valley is one of only two rift valleys with the other being in the Great Victoria Valley in Africa. Running for 125 miles and 5 miles in width, the Sequatchie Valley was formed as the plateau literally split apart giving it its memorable shape. (Southeast Tennessee Tourism, 2004.)
